Arriving and Departing

Except for short breaks, all bookings run weekly from Friday to Friday, unless otherwise stated. You will be sent details of how to get to Jake’s Cottage and where to collect the keys, when you have paid for your holiday in full.

We request that you vacate the cottage by 10.a.m. on your departure day. This is to allow us to prepare for our next guests.

Pets

We are delighted to have your pet’s to stay with us. There is a nominal charge of £16 a pet, per week or part week. We would appreciate it if pets were kept off the furniture and not left unattended in the cottage or garden. Not all of our guests have animals, or some may have an allergy to cat or dog hair, so please do bear this in mind.

We would appreciate any fouling of lawns, etc., is cleared up as soon as possible.

Cleaning

Jake’s cottage will be clean and tidy for your arrival, leaving you free to start your holiday as soon as you get here. Unless there is very heavy cleaning required or you fail to leave the cottage and contents as you found them, there will be no extra charge for cleaning.

Breakages

Please report any breakages or damage to us which occur during your stay. Any broken or damaged items should be replaced or paid for as appropriate before departure.
