Jake's Cottage is closer than you think...

Jake's cottage is a dog and family friendly holiday cottage in the scottish borders, close to Kelso. We are just:

• 4 hours from London (3 1/2 hrs by train to Berwick-upon-Tweed plus 30mins taxi /car from station) ,
• 50 minutes from Edinburgh Airport,
• 1¾ hours from Newcastle and
• accessible by either the A1, the A7, the A68 or the A697.

That's easily close enough to have a short stay without all the enjoyment being destroyed by the journey.
